Here's the band's introduction to this release: "In 1994, the German noise/grind/thrash label Ecocentric Records released a Cripple Bastards 7" entitled "Frammenti di vita" (Fragments of life), containing 6 covers of Italian hardcore punk bands from the early 1980s, grinded and butchered in our own style. For years we planned to record a definitive full length follow-up with different songs from the original EP, and this finally happened way later, in 2010. We chose a selection of classic Italian hardcore-thrash pioneers who influenced us the most in the early days and helped shape our sound, and this is also our tribute to those pioneering bands whose members have become our friends over the years. This LP also adds as a bonus the 1994 7" retransferred from the original reels and remixed at Toxic Basement Studios, with a much better sound than the original Dracma mix made at the time..."
