BMG, DIO's reissued studio albums from 1996-2004 have been enthusiastically received worldwide, especially in the U.S., Germany and Spain, where all four albums achieved impressive chart positions, even surpassing the chart positions of the original releases Angry Machines (1996), Magica (2000), Killing the Dragon (2002) and Master of the Moon (2004) were released by BMG in remastered versions with rare and never before released live and studio bonus tracks Of the four releases, only Killing the Dragon made it to #199 on the charts in the U.S. on its original release. However, the re-releases reached higher positions in the US Top 200 Sales Chart: Magica at #118, Killing the Dragon at #125, Angry Machines at #126 and Master of the Moon at #127. In the US Catalog Sales Chart, the releases did even better: Magica - #46, Killing the Dragon - #49, Angry Machines - #50 and Master of the Moon - #51 In the German charts, all four albums ended up in the Top 50, with all but Killing the Dragon surpassing their original position: Magica ended up at #32, the original release at #40; Killing the Dragon came in at #35, only five positions higher than the original release; Master of the Moon was originally at #62, the re-release came in 19 positions higher at #43; and Angry Machines, which was not originally in the charts, at #44.
