HAVOC was an 80's metal band from San Francisco, California that every serious U.S. metal fan and collector is familiar with. Their iconic album "The Grip" originally released in 1985 on Auburn Records is considered to be one of the best U.S. metal LP's released in the 80's and it was about time for an official reissue of it to emerge, as almost 40 years have passed since its original release date. In collaboration with the original drummer of the band Jeff Gfroerer and the other original HAVOC members we agreed to release nearly all the songs that the band ever composed. Aside from "The Grip", the band had recorded before and after the album a series of amazing demos with different line-ups. Therefore, it was essential that all these demos also get to be released for the first time in physical format, resulting to a collection of songs under the title "The Demos", featuring lyrics, story, credits and remastered sound.
The reissue comes in deluxe 350gsm sleeve, 180gr vinyl, 4 page insert including lyrics, liner notes, tons of rare photos and black polyline inner sleeve.
