VIC Records, bonus tracks from their 1994 split ep (Old Burnt Church Road)

Horror Of Horrors (formed 1994), was a US death metal band, from Silver Spring, Maryland. The band released 2 official albums, their 3rd album was only released digital and never in any other format, even no artwork was made. In 1994 they released the Judecca / Horror Of Horrors – The Evil Is Born / Old Burnt Church Road split ep. Horror of Horror’s debut ‘Sounds of Eerie’ is a gem hailing from the heydays of 90’s death metal. The tempo remains mostly upbeat with riffs constantly bombarding the listeners from every corner. Produced by  Mark Smoot engineer, producer and owner of Smoot Sound in Ashton, Maryland. who also produced the legendary Exmortis demo and recently worked with doom slougde legends  Sourvein. Besides H.M. Lopez (guitars) and  Buddy Buell (vocals / bass), Aantar Lee Coates (ex Exmortis) plays drums on the first two albums before he formed Unholy Ghost and Diabolic. Michael ‘Chewka’ Marchewka plays guitars on the first two albums (also ex Exmortis). Extensive liner notes by Steven Willems ( Celtic Frost, Decide, Destruction  / voices from the Darkside).
