Johan has worked together with a wide range of Swedish well-known musicians
The debut album evokes the magic feeling of classic 70s/80s Heavy Metal/Hard Rock/ Doom. This in the vein of BLACK SABBATH (Tony Martin-era), DIO (solo and with Sabbath), RAINBOW, SAVATAGE and a touch of Doom added for good measure!
Johan Langquist The Castle is not to be seen as a “ studio project”, on the contrary a full lineup will soon take shape, both live-shows and a second album is being worked on. But that is another story.
