Formed as early as 1987 and quickly making a name for themselves with their demos, Czech MASTER`S HAMMER are widely hailed as one of the most important formative Black Metal bands.
Eccentric, odd, unmistakable and highly original are some of the words often thrown around when trying to characterize them.
Although, released more than 30 years ago, landmark albums such as Ritual. and Jilemnický okultista featuring vocals performed in their native Czech have not lost an inch of relevance and are still essential pillars of the genre today.
Having kept the band in limbo for 14 years after releasing the oddball Šlágry, MASTER`S HAMMER would re-enter the scene in 2009.
In the course of the next years they were busy unleashing five albums and performing many shows. Upon completion of their tour of South-America in 2018 it was decided to bury the band for good.
Fortunately, the very last MASTER`S HAMMER concert that took place in Brno December 2018 was professionally recorded.
To honour the legacy of this truly exceptional band, this – the final nail in the coffin of MASTER`S HAMMER – is now finally made available.
