BMG, digipack, Remastered re-release of the US metal classic on CD and vinyl
"The World Needs A Hero" is the ninth studio album by US thrash metal legends Megadeth. Originally released in May 2001, the album was hailed by fans as a return to a heavier musical direction for the band and charted at #16 on the Billboard 200 chart upon release. It received positive reviews in the music press and stood comparison with the band's classic albums "Rust In Peace" and "Countdown To Extinction." The complete album has been remastered by Ted Jensen (Pantera, Mastodon) and includes the rare live bonus track "Coming Home" on the CD version. Back on vinyl for the first time in 18 years. The CD has been out of print for 5 years.
