Peaceville, Limited red/black double vinyl edition of Evinta, marking 30 years of MDB. This edition presents Evinta on the vinyl format for the very first time, and includes updated gatefold cover art plus an additional, previously unreleased orchestral version of the classic The Cry Of Mankind, unused from the original sessions and newly mixed for this release. Rightly hailed as one of the most influential forces in Doom Metal, My Dying Bride has forged an illustrious career through a flawless discography of immaculately crafted, haunting art. Evinta was originally launched 2011, containing re-worked melodies and themes from the band's extensive back catalogue moulded into epic, flowing symphonic compositions, incorporating specially recorded vocals and passages from band vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe, and French Opera singer Lucie Roche. The arrangements were created in collaboration with Johnny Maudling (Bal Sagoth) and a collective of gifted Classical musicians, resulting in a sprawling epic of solemn atmospherics and poignant dirges 'reimagined' from the original material. This edition of Evinta (MMXX) is presented on the vinyl format for the very first time, and includes gatefold sleeve with updated cover art and layout courtesy of Aaron Stainthorpe himself. Evinta appears on double limited red/black vinyl, with Aaron selecting his choice cuts from the extended, 3-CD version for this release.
