Noise/ BMG, If the post-NWOBHM era in the British metal scene produced little that could shock the world, Sabbath were a shining, startling exception. The Nottingham band was brave enough to break away from the clichés and inject some experimentation and individuality into a style of music that, at the time, seemed to be based on the obvious. After two well-received demos, coverage by Kerrang! Magazine and a session on BBC Radio 1's Friday Rock Show, they signed with Noise Records, where they produced two groundbreaking albums of their unique brand of pagan thrash metal: "History of A Time To Come" (1988) and "Dreamweaver" (1988). The writing duo of vocalist and lyricist Martin Walkyier and guitarist Andy Sneap (now himself a producer and guitarist with Judas Priest) were ahead of their time, creating two of the most important albums of the late '80s This box set contains (LPs are recycled deluxe vinyl): History Of A Time To Come (1988) Dreamweaver (1990) Live In East Berlin 1990 (2 x LP) - released in its entirety for the first time on vinyl BBC Radio 1: Friday Rock Show Session - previously unreleased The End Of The Beginning (DVD) - - the live concert from Berlin is released for the first time on DVD 32-page lyric and photo book - contains rare and unseen photos Double-sided poster
