Hailing from Florence, New Jersey, SANCTUM is one of those (few) U.S. metal bands from the 80's, that despite releasing only one album with 6 songs back in 1991, they managed to gain a cult following through the years because all the songs they ever penned deliver high quality power metal music in the vein of early QUEENSRYCHE (EP and "Warning" era). And they are in no way QUEENSRYCHE clones as they manage to showcase a unique sound, cleverly blending their influences into classic U.S. metal tunes.
