Dynamo Concerts, The Brazilian thrash metal band around frontman Max Cavalera has wowed audiences in their millions worldwide with their eclectic mix of thrash, nu metal and Brazilian rhythm elements. in 1998, however, the band was still at the very beginning of their career and had their debut album "Soulfly" fresh in their luggage when they performed at the Dynamo Festival - one of their first appearances ever in front of a large audience. During their stunning set, the band played songs from the debut album, of course, but also Sepultura classics like "Beneath The Remains" or "Roots Bloody Roots". Special guests include Chino Moreno (Deftones) on one track and Benji Webbe (Skindred and Dub War) on two tracks. This live recording shows how strong Cavalera and his men were in 1998 and how they earned their loyal fan base. The debut CD had been in stores for just a month when the versatile thrash metal band Soulfly gave its first concert at the Dynamo Open Air in May 1998. At the time, this major event in the Netherlands was the biggest metal event in the world. At this show Soulfly played songs from their debut as well as Sepultura classics like "Beneath The Remains" and "Roots Bloody Roots". Guests at this very special show included Chino Moreno (Deftones) and Benji Webbe (Skindred).
