DARK HEART from Durham, U.K. gained immortality through their first album "Shadows of the Night" that was originally released in 1984. The band was capable of producing high quality NWOBHM in the vein of contemporaries DEMON, ANGEL WITCH, MILLENNIUM and INCUBUS and this is one of the reasons that most of the compositions on that album are considered to be milestones of British heavy metal. We got in touch with Alan Clark, the guitar player and co-founder of the band and we mutually agreed to release the ultimate edition of this classic, featuring all unreleased songs that the band ever wrote, including the pre-DARK HEART tunes as TOKYO ROSE and also a super rare live recording of the entire album plus additional demo songs.
The reissue comes with remastered sound in a deluxe 350gsm sleeve, 180gr vinyl, 4 page insert including interview, lyrics, tons of rare photos and black polyline inner sleeve.
