Looking back: 44 years ago, the band from Hagen catapulted themselves to new heights with the release of their cult album "Solar Music Live". For the Grobschnitt enthusiasts, it was a great moment and a milestone for eternity. It was the band's sixth album and first live LP, and its success continues to have an impact to this day. No prog rock party without the red album with the fire fountain cover. Nobody could escape the magic and fascination of this work at the gigs. Full halls ensured unprecedented Grobschnitt hype, which culminated in the band being voted Live Band of the Year on WDR's "Rockpalast". Each time, the epic "Solar Music" marked the ultimate highlight of the concerts, which lasted up to four hours and were unique with their mix of music, theater interludes, light and pyro shows and achieved cult status.
