Warner, Now available again as 180gr. Vinyl, probably still Ministry's biggest hit, still absolutely up to date today. A sound that was later quoted and copied a lot, but never quite achieved. If you listen to " Just One Fix" you know what Rammstein must have been listening to. It's probably the perfect symbiosis of guitars, synths and noise. If tracks such as "NWO" are still quite digestible and easy to dance to, the noise orgies such as "Corrosion" will get the acoustic drill into your brain into your brain. If you just want a little insight into industrial metal and want to understand bands like NIN, Marilyn Manson or Fear Factory, you have to have this album.
"Psalm 69" is a classic and redefined the genre of industrial rock in 1992. It was the first time that hard guitars were fused with lots of samples and electronics to create a new kind of music and caused a jolt in the scene! Whether it was the opener "N. W.O.", the brilliantly rocking "Just One Fix", the noise orgy "TV II", the long since legendary "Jesus Built My Hot Rod" or the epic "Psalm 69" - Ministry reached their musical peak here. Ingenious and groundbreaking.
