WITCHSLAYER simply need no introduction, as they started in the early 80's and they had gained a cult status mainly because of their killer '83 demo and their participation in METAL MASSACRE IV compilation with the song "I don't want to die". The band had disbanded without ever releasing an official album. More than 40 years later, they made one of the greatest comebacks we've ever witnessed by any U.S. metal band, releasing their mind blowing debut album in 2022, featuring old songs, newly recorded. If you also take into account that since 2019, the legendary Ken Mandat (DAMIEN THORNE) joined the ranks of WITCHSLAYER, what we have here is a cult Chicago super group. "Witchslayer" has already made it in most best 2022 metal album lists and the band is also scheduled to play at KEEP IT TRUE in 2023. This is one of the rare cases of an old band, re-recording their old stuff and making it sound even better, so be prepared cause what you're going to get here is pure 80's steel, with killer riffs, vocals and rhythm section, choruses that stick to your mind and an overall nostalgic trip to the golden age of heavy metal music.
